About The Position

McMichael Taylor Gray, LLC is seeking an attorney licensed AND residing in Virginia to join its growing practice. The ideal applicant will be a career-oriented professional with at least three years of experience and a desire to represent or experience in representing creditors in foreclosures, evictions and/or title proceedings. Creditor-side bankruptcy experience is a plus, as is litigation experience. The applicant must have the ability to prioritize and manage numerous tasks in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, communicate professionally at all times, be effective working independently and as part of a team, and provide exceptional customer service. Leadership and management skills are strongly preferred.

Requirements

Admitted to practice in Virginia.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Strong work ethic with the ability to balance and prioritize a high volume workload.
Must pass a background check.
Able to provide two professional references.
Must be able to provide confirmation of eligibility to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Admitted to practice in other states is a plus.
Creditor-side bankruptcy experience is a plus.
Litigation experience is a plus.
Leadership and management skills are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Review of title abstracts and loan documents in preparation of noticing foreclosure sales.
Legal research and writing.
Written and oral communication with clients, outside counsel, and Court personnel, among others.
Court appearances for motions, conferences, hearings, etc., as needed.
