About The Position
Messner Reeves LLP, a full-service, business law firm, with 10 offices nationwide, seeks an experienced Associate Attorney in California. We are hiring for the following practice areas: General Liability, Healthcare, Personal Injury, Construction Law, Commercial Litigation, Labor and Employment, Insurance Defense, Professional Liability, Premises Liability, and Product Liability.
Requirements
- Two to five years’ experience.
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Self-motivated, and goal oriented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to Practice Law in California.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Can handle multiple competing priorities.
Responsibilities
- Experience in all phases of discovery, including written discovery, and depositions.
- Foster strong relationships with potential clients while maintaining excellent services for existing clients.
- Manage multiple complex cases concurrently.
- Meet billable hours.
- Handle necessary tasks proactively.
