About The Position

Morrison Mahoney LLP is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to join their team. The role involves managing cases from inception through resolution, including taking and defending depositions, preparing and filing dispositive motions, prior ADR experience handling arbitrations and mediations, and the ability to prepare comprehensive status reports for insurers. The role involves working closely with clients, experts, and fellow attorneys to develop and execute effective litigation strategies. Clear and consistent client communication will be essential, including providing regular updates and comprehensive written status reports. The position also includes conducting in-depth legal research, preparing strategic memoranda, and collaborating with partners and senior attorneys to ensure seamless case management. Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school
Admission to the New York State Bar
At least 3-5 years of experience handling the defense of Transportation, Construction Litigation, and Tort Liability
Ability to draft and argue dispositive motions
Ability to perform legal research
Ability to respond to discovery requests
