Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
Admitted to the Connecticut State Bar or have an adequate UBE score for admission to the jurisdiction.
1 to 5 years of litigation experience preferably in insurance defense or closely related practice area.
Proficiency in drafting and arguing dispositive motions.
Strong capabilities in performing thorough legal research.
Ability to respond effectively to discovery requests.
Strong advocacy skills.
Attention to detail.
Prioritization skills.
Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

Independently manage your own caseload from inception to conclusion, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests while meticulously adhering to deadlines.
Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials, providing invaluable courtroom experience.
Engage closely with clients, experts, and fellow attorneys to devise effective litigation strategies.
Communicate regularly with clients, providing status updates and written reports.
Conduct comprehensive legal research and write memoranda to bolster case strategies.
Work alongside seasoned partners and senior attorneys to ensure smooth case management, enhancing professional skills in a collaborative, inclusive, and supportive environment.
