The ideal candidate will be licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and possess experience managing all aspects of workers’ compensation matters.

Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active bar admissions in NY(required)
minimum of 3 years of workers’ compensation/insurance defense experience preferred
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Professional demeanor and a commitment to high-quality legal work

Responsibilities

Representing employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation claims
Drafting and reviewing pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
Conducting depositions of claimants, medical experts, and fact witnesses
Preparing clients and witnesses for hearings and trials
Managing a caseload independently and efficiently, from inception through resolution
Engaging in consistent communication with clients, adjusters, and opposing counsel
Ensuring timely compliance with all procedural deadlines
