About The Position
California's premier plaintiff-side employment law firm is seeking driven attorneys who desire significant courtroom experience, comprehensive mentorship, and a clear path to becoming top litigators. This role offers associates the opportunity to take ownership of cases from inception through trial, arguing motions, taking depositions, and preparing for trial alongside respected employment litigators. The firm represents workers who have faced wrongful termination, harassment, and discrimination, focusing on aggressive advocacy and achieving record-setting results.
Requirements
- Active California Bar member
- 1–7 years of litigation experience
- Hunger to try cases and grow
- Ability to write and argue with precision and confidence
- Ability to own a caseload
- Genuine draw to the courtroom
- Employment law background preferred

- Trial or substantial trial-prep experience
Responsibilities
- Take full autonomy over cases from inception through trial
- Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial briefs
- Take and defend depositions
- Appear in court for hearings and motion practice
- Communicate directly with clients and contribute meaningfully to case strategy
- Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations
- Prepare for trial and gain second chair experience
- Contribute to emerging California employment case law

- Base salary of $150,000–$170,000 commensurate with experience
- Settlement commissions up to 6.5% per case
