About The Position

This is an opportunity for an Associate Attorney specializing in Personal Injury. The role involves assisting in the handling of personal injury cases from intake through settlement or litigation. The attorney will be responsible for drafting various legal documents, conducting legal research, and communicating with a range of parties involved in the cases. This position offers a remote work arrangement with a client based in West LA.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the California State Bar.
• 1–3 years of experience in personal injury litigation, preferably with both defense and plaintiff-side experience

Responsibilities

• Assist in handling personal injury cases from intake through settlement or litigation.
• Draft demand packages, pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and discovery responses.
• Conduct legal research and analyze liability, damages, and insurance coverage issues.
• Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and opposing counsel.
• Participate in case strategy discussions and collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff.
• Attend court appearances, hearings, depositions, mediations, and settlement conferences as needed.
• Review medical records, billing records, and other evidence relevant to client claims.
• Assist with trial preparation and other litigation-related tasks.
