The position focuses primarily on traffic ticket defense while also providing exposure to criminal defense matters. Requirements

• J.D. and active Florida Bar license.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (required).
• Strong communication, organization, and courtroom skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Local travel to courthouses throughout Broward County is required.

Nice To Haves

• 1–3 years of litigation or criminal defense experience preferred (new attorneys encouraged to apply).

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in traffic court.
• Communicate with clients regarding their cases.
• Review discovery and case files.
• Draft and file motions and legal documents.
• Negotiate with prosecutors and relay plea offers.
• Conduct client consultations.
• Manage a high-volume caseload.
