About The Position

Robertson, Anschutz, Schneid, Crane & Partners, PLLC has been providing elite legal representation to mortgage servicers in the context of foreclosure and bankruptcy cases since 2010. The Associate Attorney role provides new hires with an opportunity to learn about and familiarize themselves with our various practice areas, as well as demonstrate their ability to meet performance expectations. Bar Required. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and includes our benefits package. We are looking to hire a candidate with bar membership(s) who has an active license and is in good-standing within their respective jurisdiction.

Requirements

Intermediate to advanced-level computer and general office skills; strong interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively communicate through both verbal and written electronic correspondence
Demonstrate an excellent ability to analyze corrective action opportunities and present recommendations
Meticulous analytical skills and attention to detail

Aptitude and desire to learn and continuously improve
Juris Doctor
Active Bar membership (any U.S. State)

Nice To Haves

Prior bankruptcy or other creditor’s rights experience preferred but we are willing to train a candidate who is eager to learn.
Basic principles of Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control strongly preferred
Bankruptcy experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Comprehensive review of all conditions precedent to filing of the action, including review of loan documents, financials, and demand letters
Draft and review pleadings and correspondence to initiate actions
Attend court hearings and communicate with opposing counsel
Ensure all internal systems are updated to include findings, documentation, and recommendations
Exercise a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism
Safeguard compliance with local, state, and federal foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections requirements, as applicable
