About The Position

CAN Community Health is looking for an Associate Attorney passionate about serving individuals impacted by HIV, Hepatitis C, STI's, and other infectious diseases. The role involves advising healthcare stakeholders on corporate, transactional, regulatory, and operational matters, with a focus on healthcare transactions, academic medicine, clinical research, and health data use and commercialization. The position is full-time with a day shift schedule, Monday-Thursday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Admission (or eligibility for admission) to the Florida Bar.
  • 2-5 years of experience, or a strong demonstrated interest in healthcare law, health policy, or life sciences.
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Valid insurance and driver’s license.
  • Ability to pass a Level I and Level II Background check.

Responsibilities

  • Advise healthcare stakeholders on a wide range of corporate, transactional, regulatory, and operational matters.
  • Support a broad healthcare practice, including healthcare regulatory & compliance, transactional & corporate matters, contract drafting and negotiation, and health data & innovation.
  • Engage in significant work involving healthcare transactions, academic medicine, clinical research, and the use and commercialization of health data.
