Baird Holm is seeking at add an Associate attorney to our Energy and Renewable Energy practice area which is a part of our Real Estate section. This position can be located in our Omaha, NE or Lincoln, NE offices. Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) from an American Bar Association (ABA) accredited law school
Strong academic history
Active admission in good standing with the Nebraska bar or ability to obtain the same
Strong writing, analytical, organizational, time management, and communication skills
Attention to detail and robust work ethic
Commitment to professionalism, collegiality, and teamwork, along with ability to work independently on various projects
This position requires up to 30% travel, including occassional overnight stays for hearings and client meetings.
Ability to start working by or before September 2026.

Nice To Haves

Understanding of energy, corporate, finance, natural resources and environmental, construction, or tax credits
Familiarity with conducting due diligence, drafting transactional documents, and handling closings
Prior experience with litigation, permitting, land use, and zoning
