About The Position
Kubicki Draper is seeking an associate attorney interested in joining their litigation practice. This role can be based out of any of their Florida offices and will be on a hybrid schedule. The ideal candidate will have a desire to excel and work their way up the ranks of the law firm, with the ability to provide excellent customer service to clients, maintaining a client-first mindset. They should be highly organized, possess a clear and concise communication style, and be a self-starter and goal-oriented with a focus on long-term career goals.
Requirements
- 7+ years experience in civil litigation required
- Stellar academic credentials
- Strong legal research and excellent writing skills
- Possess strong/persuasive oral advocacy
- Licensed member of the Florida Bar and in good standing
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Construction Defect Litigation highly desired
Responsibilities
- Draft/review substantive pleadings and motions
- Respond to motions & discovery
- Attend/chair hearings, depositions, mediations, meetings with clients, as well as negotiate settlements
- Communicate in a highly effective manner with team members and clients
- Ability to work in a fast paced evolving environment
- Competent & proficient in the use of Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint & Excel
