Requirements

Active California Bar license in good standing
Strong legal research, writing, and practical litigation skills
Highly organized and deadline-driven
Professional client communication and sound legal judgment
Comfortable managing a busy caseload
Proficient with modern legal technology (case management systems, e-filing, and AI-assisted research tools)

Responsibilities

Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and settlement documents
Manage litigation strategy, discovery, deadlines, and negotiations
Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
Appear for hearings as required (virtual whenever possible; in-person only when necessary)
Handle matters with increasing autonomy and responsibility as you grow
Litigation support including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and resolution
Full case management from intake through settlement, hearing, or trial
Research-intensive work, briefing, appeals, and writ practice
Contract disputes, business litigation, and real estate-related matters
Full-scope family law matters, including contested issues and support litigation
