Requirements

  • Active California Bar license in good standing
  • Strong legal research, writing, and practical litigation skills
  • Highly organized and deadline-driven
  • Professional client communication and sound legal judgment
  • Comfortable managing a busy caseload
  • Proficient with modern legal technology (case management systems, e-filing, and AI-assisted research tools)

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and settlement documents
  • Manage litigation strategy, discovery, deadlines, and negotiations
  • Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
  • Appear for hearings as required (virtual whenever possible; in-person only when necessary)
  • Handle matters with increasing autonomy and responsibility as you grow
  • Litigation support including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and resolution
  • Full case management from intake through settlement, hearing, or trial
  • Research-intensive work, briefing, appeals, and writ practice
  • Contract disputes, business litigation, and real estate-related matters
  • Full-scope family law matters, including contested issues and support litigation
