About The Position

Wilson Elser's Connecticut offices are seeking a motivated and collaborative Attorney to join our litigation team in either our Stamford or Hartford office. This position offers a flexible, hybrid working arrangement, providing balance that supports your professional growth and personal commitments. As an Associate Attorney, you will independently manage an active litigation caseload, collaborate closely with partners, attorneys, and legal support staff on a variety of litigation matters, and handle court appearances, depositions, mediations, and other litigation proceedings. You will also prepare pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents, maintain regular communication with clients and provide timely case status updates, and develop litigation strategy while delivering outstanding client service.

Requirements

A Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Admission to practice law in the State of Connecticut.
General liability litigation experience.
Experience handling products liability, trucking, and transportation matters.
Excellent written, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Strong organizational and legal project management skills.
The ability to independently manage a caseload while meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality legal work.

Nice To Haves

Professional liability experience is preferred but not required.
Medical malpractice experience is a plus.
