About The Position

Our law firm, with offices in Virginia Beach, Newport News, Williamsburg, and Gloucester, is excited to offer an outstanding opportunity for a talented Litigation Associate to join our dynamic team.

Requirements

• Admission to Virginia State Bar
• Recent law school graduate or attorney with a minimum 1-3 years of experience.
• Demonstrated interest in litigation and a strong desire to develop your skills in this practice area.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.

Responsibilities

• Litigate cases in court on behalf of clients
• Negotiate settlements and agreements with opposing parties
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts
• Attend client meetings and provide legal advice and guidance
• Represent clients in mediation and arbitration proceedings
• Prepare for and participate in trials and hearings
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff on complex cases
