Summary: We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our Arizona office and advance their legal career in a supportive, hands-on environment. This role offers the opportunity to manage litigation cases from inception to resolution, gain courtroom experience, and develop practical legal skills. This position offers a consistent Monday-Friday schedule, hybrid work flexibility, a small office environment with the support and benefits of practicing at a multi-jurisdictional firm—all without the pressure of a billable hour requirement.

Requirements

  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Commitment to collaboration, professional growth, and contributing to a positive office environment.
  • Effective time management and the ability to prioritize tasks with attention to detail while managing a high volume of active cases.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Arizona.
  • Member in good standing with the Arizona Bar.

Responsibilities

  • Represent secured creditors in the areas of non-judicial and judicial property reclamation (including the court-supervised process of taking ownership of secured real estate), litigation, replevins, evictions, surplus funds, and title resolution.
  • Provide legal representation throughout all stages of litigation including virtual and in-person hearings: pre-litigation, drafting pleadings, motion practice, discovery, trial preparation, trial, post-trial, and appeals.
  • Develop and execute case strategies based on legal analysis and procedural requirements.
  • Communicate with clients regarding case status, timelines, and procedural updates.
  • Oversee case documentation and ensure accurate and timely filings.
  • May perform other duties as assigned to support department goals.
  • May occasionally work extended hours based on operational needs.
