About The Position

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join its team in DC. The associate will work closely with trial attorneys, supporting clients and assisting before, during, and after trials. The role offers the opportunity to learn and develop litigation skills alongside trial attorneys, learn and execute the firm’s playbook, and become a polished, well-rounded litigator.

Requirements

Law degree from a fully accredited law school.
Active membership in good standing with the DC State Bar Association.
At least 1 year of litigation experience; personal injury experience is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong interest in personal injury law.
Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

Provide legal support to clients and trial attorneys.
Maintain client relationships.
Help prepare demands and work on cases before suit is filed.
Prepare legal reports and documents.
Interact with expert witnesses, including participating in conferences and drafting expert reports and affidavits.
Attend and prepare for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
Work closely with litigation paralegals and case managers.
