We are seeking Workers’ Compensation Defense Attorneys licensed in Florida to join our dynamic and growing practiceacross multiple office locations in the state. This full-time position is a strong opportunity for attorneys with 1–10 years of experience who are looking to handle diverse workers’ compensation matters and grow in a collaborative, high-performance environment.

Requirements

  • 1–10 years of experience in Workers’ Compensation defense litigation preferred.
  • Attorneys with litigation experience and a strong desire to transition into Workers’ Compensation will also be considered.
  • Strong research, writing, and courtroom advocacy skills.
  • Excellent case organization, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in the State of Florida and in good standing.

Responsibilities

  • Case Preparation & Medical Record Review: Analyzing and summarizing medical records and case files to formulate effective case strategies.
  • Courtroom Advocacy: Drafting and arguing motions, attending hearings, and representing clients in court proceedings.
  • Deposition Practice: Preparing clients for and attending depositions of fact and expert witnesses.
  • Report Drafting & Communication: Preparing initial, interim, and pre-trial reports; maintaining open communication with clients throughout the case lifecycle.
  • Discovery Management: Responding to discovery requests, drafting discovery-related motions, and ensuring full compliance with procedural rules.
  • Client Engagement: Building strong relationships with clients, managing expectations, and advising on case risks, strategy, and resolution paths.
