Our client is a minority-owned insurance defense boutique serving property owners, insurers, and municipalities across New York. They handle premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, professional negligence, construction accidents, and Labor Law matters, and they are growing. For an associate-level litigator, this is a place to build real trial and deposition experience fast. You will be in the room — not just supporting from the back. The firm values attorneys who are hungry to develop their practice and who take ownership of their cases early. Requirements

NY-barred litigation attorney
JD from an accredited law school
2 to 5 years of litigation experience
Strong research and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Able to manage multiple matters independently while meeting deadlines
Lives within commutable distance to New York courts

Responsibilities

Manage litigation files from investigation and discovery through trial preparation
Represent clients in depositions, site inspections, hearings, and settlement negotiations
Research applicable laws and develop legal strategy in coordination with senior attorneys
Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail
Communicate regularly with claims representatives and insured clients
Track billable hours and comply with invoicing requirements
Participate in case strategy discussions and firm training sessions
