About The Position

Brock & Scott's Auto Collections & Replevin group is seeking Attorney in Florida to work with Dennis LeVine, Managing Partner Brock & Scott, PLLC has an opening in its Auto Replevin Department for an Associate attorney in Florida. The attorney will work closely with support staff. Duties include attending hearings, taking depositions and negotiating settlements. The attorney will be responsible for participating in all stages of the Impound, Collection and Auto Replevin process in Florida.

Requirements

• Member in good standing of the Florida Bar
• 3-5 years of litigation experience (preferably in the collection and replevin fields). Experience attending hearings, taking depositions and conducting trials.
• Experience managing staff
• Great work ethic and commitment to professionalism
• Client focused
• Active in professional organizations
• Get along well with others
• Ability to manage high-volume case load
• Engaging personality, since you will have direct contact with clients
• Effective negotiator
• Keen eye for detail

Responsibilities

• Managing volume caseload and associate attorneys
• Preparing pleadings, including lawsuits, reviewing and signing pleadings
• Negotiating settlements
• Attending hearings, taking depositions and preparing discovery
