About The Position

This position oversees the Office of Marketing and Promotions, including marketing, promotions, and multi-media operations. It also oversees external ticket sales programs, fan development, the Office of Ticket Operations, the Office of Media Relations, selected sports administration programs, and all licensing and merchandise operations. The role involves creating and implementing television and radio network programming, promoting sports programs, managing game-day operations, directing ZipsVision, initiating new inventory, and managing website development and maintenance. Additionally, it involves developing season and group ticket packages, supervising ticket operations, building media relationships, producing media guides, and serving as a liaison for licensing and merchandise.

Requirements

  • Requires a relevant Bachelor's Degree.
  • Requires a minimum of 4 years of full-time paid experience in sports marketing and promotions, preferably in college athletics or minor league sports.
  • Strong organizational, communication, strategic planning, creative and guest relations skills required.
  • Work experience with Microsoft Office software, InDesign, Photoshop and/or other related software required.
  • Demonstrated ability in sales, marketing, customer services and/or related fields required.
  • Prior supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Promote all sports programs, including game-day operations and environment.
  • Direct ZipsVision.
  • Initiate new inventory.
  • Manage website development and maintenance.
  • Oversee all external ticket sales programs, fan development, and the Office of Ticket Operations.
  • Manage and develop season and group ticket packages.
  • Supervise all ticket operations.
  • Oversee the Office of Media Relations.
  • Develop positive relationships with local, regional, and national media.
  • Promote all sports programs on a local, regional, and national level.
  • Oversee/serve as Sport Administrator for selected programs.
  • Oversee all licensing and merchandise operations.
  • Serve as the main liaison for licensing and merchandise operations.
