About The Position

This role involves responding to client inquiries and collaborating with global Asset Servicing processing teams to resolve client queries efficiently. The Associate will manage assigned client relationships, acting as a single point of contact for consistent service, and provide support to clients represented by other revenue functions. Responsibilities include attending external client meetings, administering Goldman Sachs University (GSU) classes for client education on Asset Servicing events, and liaising with the technology team to implement solutions based on client needs. The role also requires close collaboration with Prime Brokerage representatives, including organizing and running the annual Prime Broker Client Seminar and Networking Event.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, or related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role.
  • Prior experience must include one (1) year of experience (with a Master’s degree) OR three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor’s degree) with: corporate Action event processing or middle office functions.
  • Prior experience must include one (1) year of experience (with a Master’s degree) OR three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor’s degree) with: advanced Microsoft Excel including working with macros, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and IF/AND formulas.
  • Prior experience must include one (1) year of experience (with a Master’s degree) OR three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor’s degree) with: preparing and presenting reports to senior management.
  • Prior experience must include one (1) year of experience (with a Master’s degree) OR three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor’s degree) with: working on and prioritizing multiple projects with competing deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to client inquiries and work with relevant processing teams across global Asset Servicing to solve client queries in a timely manner.
  • Manage assigned client relationships on an ongoing basis to provide clients with consistent service from a single point of contact.
  • Provide assistance to assigned clients represented by other revenue functions.
  • Attend external client meetings.
  • Administer Goldman Sachs University (GSU) classes to educate clients on Asset Servicing events.
  • Understand client needs and requests and liaise with the technology team to implement solutions.
  • Work closely with the Prime Brokerage representatives and help organize and run the annual Prime Broker Client Seminar and Networking Event.
