About The Position

Perform business and technical analysis to inform design decisions and ensure alignment with business requirements. Contribute to code design that accurately translates business logic into scalable and maintainable software solutions. Develop core components of investment platforms using Java to support BlackRock investment processes. Conduct comprehensive testing to validate functionality, performance, and reliability of developed features. Review and refactor existing code to improve maintainability, optimize performance, and ensure alignment with best practices. Maintain investment platform applications to ensure stability, performance, and responsiveness to evolving business requirements. Provide user support by being on call to assist clients, proactively identify issues, and resolve problems to ensure a seamless user experience. Manage the release and deployment processes to ensure smooth delivery of application updates and maintain system reliability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, or related field, and 24 months of experience in job offered or closely related role.
  • Position requires two years of experience in the following: Java; Angular; SQL; System Design; Design Pattern; AI Tool Usage; Integration and Functional Testing; System Support; Code Review; Software Release; and Financial Domains.
