About The Position

Eurofins BPT-Columbia is seeking an Associate Analytical Chemist to join its Trace Analytical Structural Chemistry (TASC) team. This early-career role offers hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation, support for research and development studies, and the opportunity to generate high-quality scientific data in a regulated laboratory environment. Working with experienced scientists, the Associate Analytical Chemist will develop technical expertise while supporting studies that advance pharmaceutical and biotechnology products.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Hands-on experience with HPLC and/or GC instrumentation.
Laboratory experience through internships, undergraduate research, academic coursework, or industry positions.
Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Experience with GLP, GMP, and/or LIMS.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

Perform laboratory testing and analysis according to SOPs, protocols, and study requirements.
Generate accurate, reliable, and high-quality experimental data.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation.
Document laboratory activities in accordance with cGMP and/or GLP requirements.
Support research and development projects through testing and data collection.
Analyze, interpret, and communicate scientific results.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams while managing project timelines and priorities.
Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant laboratory environment.
