Prominence Advisors and Tegra Analytics are seeking an Associate Analyst to support life sciences clients across commercial sales operations, incentive compensation, and performance analytics. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree; Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Life Sciences, or a related field preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to organize, analyze, and interpret data.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with careful attention to data accuracy and detail.
Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and client teams.
Ability to organize multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and ask questions or escalate issues when guidance is needed.
Interest in life sciences commercial operations and incentive compensation, with a willingness to learn new tools and processes.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Relevant internship, coursework, or early career experience in analytics, consulting, sales operations, or life sciences.
Exposure to incentive compensation, territory management, sales reporting, or CRM data.
Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau; Python and/or VBA experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist with sales force sizing and alignment analyses, territory updates, target lists, quota deployment, and call planning using established methods and templates.
Maintain and validate sales, customer, territory, and field activity data; investigate discrepancies and document corrections for review.
Prepare recurring sales performance and KPI reports, highlighting trends and exceptions for senior team members.
Support incentive compensation plan design through data preparation, scenario modeling, and comparisons of plan outcomes under senior guidance.
Assist with recurring IC administration by applying approved business rules, validating eligibility and sales crediting, and calculating attainment and payouts for review.
Help maintain plan documents, calculation templates, and payout reports; research compensation questions and route exceptions to senior team members.
Support senior team members in serving client Commercial Operations, Sales Leadership, HR, and Finance teams; help prepare meeting materials, presentations, and routine communications.
Participate in client and internal meetings, document decisions and action items, and follow up on assigned tasks.
Track deadlines across assigned workstreams, communicate progress, and promptly escalate questions, blockers, or changes in scope.
Use Excel and SQL to organize, reconcile, and analyze sales and compensation data; supporting forecasting, reporting, and ad hoc analyses that inform client and project needs.
Refresh and validate reports and dashboards, and summarize findings in clear, client-ready materials for senior review.
Perform structured quality checks, including reconciliations, calculation checks, and trend comparisons; document issues and resolve them with guidance.
Maintain clear process documentation and organized files, following established data privacy, governance, and client requirements.
Identify opportunities to improve recurring tasks and contribute to reusable templates or simple automation as skills develop.
Take ownership of assigned work, incorporate feedback, and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining accuracy and timely delivery.
