About The Position

The Associate Analyst, Performance & Data Reconciliation serves as a subject matter expert in Security Master and Pricing, supporting the accuracy and integrity of mutual fund trade, pricing, and investment data across advisor reporting, client reporting, financial reporting, and risk management processes. This role is responsible for analyzing investment data, maintaining security master records, performing quality control reviews, and resolving data discrepancies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and collaborative, with a strong understanding of investment products, securities, pricing, reconciliation, and account valuation. Success in this role requires the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while partnering effectively with Operations, Trading, Product, Risk, and external business partners.

Requirements

2+ years in financial services with client facing or operations experience (comparable experience may be considered)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of investment products, securities, pricing, transactions, and reconciliation processes.
Experience using investment operations platforms and tools such as DataScope, BETA, BSTS, PDD, Excel, and related applications.
Ability to interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
Working knowledge of SQL Studio and willingness to learn
Experience communicating with internal teams and external partners
Strong attention to detail and quality control experience
SIE, Series 99 preferred

Responsibilities

Perform daily and monthly quality control reviews of security master and pricing data.
Maintain and validate mutual fund and investment product data to ensure accuracy and timeliness across downstream systems.
Serve as a subject matter expert for Security Master and Pricing processes.
Analyze sponsor documentation and update investment data platforms accordingly.
Investigate and resolve pricing, performance, reconciliation, and valuation discrepancies.
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to address investment data issues and identify root causes.
Support advisor and client reporting by researching and resolving escalated inquiries.
Develop metrics, trend analyses, and reporting to support operational performance and risk monitoring.
Assist with technology and process improvement initiatives, including client-facing and internal applications.
Maintain department procedures and support continuous process improvement efforts.
Review industry announcements and implement required updates to investment data records.
