About The Position

The Associate Analyst, Investment Data Management will perform critical functions to support daily operations. This includes investment entity set-up for the respective trading desks, performing detailed data analysis, and identifying and resolving data issues. Quality, accuracy, and timeliness are critical to the success of this function. The role involves performing detailed data analysis to support data management operations, responding to business questions on the timeliness and quality of the data received and managed, and performing database queries to analyze and validate data. The analyst will also troubleshoot production-related issues and engage with Technology and Business partners to resolve them, and participate in Operations projects/initiatives involving multiple business partners, providing subject matter expertise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance or related field
  • 1-3 years’ experience working in an Operations, Business Analysis, and/or Data Analyst role
  • Able to interact with vendors, clients and end users of the data
  • Exhibited skills in problem identification and resolution
  • Strong analysis skills resulting in the ability to respond to customer inquiries with accuracy
  • Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Good organizational and project management skills to navigate through high volume setting with tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with all levels of staff, management and other business partners

Nice To Haves

  • Financial Services Industry experience working with reference data preferred
  • Experience working with Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, IDC, and industry ratings vendors preferred
  • Experience working with reporting tools such as SQL and OBIEE preferred
  • Data analytics, data mining, reporting, operations research and data manipulation experience preferred

Responsibilities
