About The Position

Precious Metals Division (PMD) is engaged in physical oriented precious metals trading. In addition to spot purchases and sales, PMD is also active in forward and leasing transactions. PMD faces industrial customers and trading companies across various industries and countries and manages a diversified credit exposure portfolio. The role of Associate / Analyst, Credit Risk is to support the Senior Manager of Credit Risk in analyzing, preparing, and maintaining credit-related materials. This position is responsible for drafting credit line applications, monitoring credit exposure, and supporting financial and business analysis. The role contributes to the smooth operation and improvement of PMD’s credit risk management framework.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field preferred)
  • 1–4 years of experience in credit risk, finance, accounting, middle office, or related functions preferred
  • Basic understanding of accounting and financial statements
  • Ability to perform fundamental financial analysis (ratios, trend analysis)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to organize information and meet internal deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • Prior internship or junior role exposure to financial analysis or risk management is a plus
  • Interest or basic knowledge of commodities trading, particularly precious metals
  • Familiarity with internal approval processes, credit documentation, or risk management frameworks

Responsibilities

  • Prepare draft credit line applications (new, renewal, amendments) under the guidance of Senior Manager
  • Collect, organize, and summarize financial statements and related materials for counterparties
  • Contribute to preparation and maintenance of Gendo (credit limit) applications and internal approval documentation
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of figures, assumptions, and supporting materials
  • Assist in ongoing monitoring of counterparty credit exposure and utilization
  • Maintain internal credit monitoring tools, files, and trackers
  • Help prepare periodic credit monitoring reports for management and Credit Committee
  • Coordinate with sales, operations, and credit teams on credit-related matters
  • Accompany Front Office team on customer visits and business trips, as necessary, to perform credit due diligence, assess counterparties, and strengthen business understanding
  • Conduct basic financial analysis of counterparties (financial ratios, trend analysis)
  • Assist in gathering industry and market information relevant to PMD counterparties
  • Prepare summary materials to support senior-level business and industry analysis
  • Identify improvements to credit-related operational processes and documentation
  • Coordinate with Front, Middle, and Back Office on information collection and data consistency
  • Assist in maintaining and updating internal credit-related procedures and templates
  • Maintain and update collateral records (e.g., LCs, PCGs)
