About The Position

Izzo Marriage & Family Therapy is seeking a bilingual, Spanish-speaking Associate (AMFT, APCC, or ACSW) who is passionate about working with children and families. The role involves supporting underserved populations through difficult life experiences and transitions. Requirements

  • Located in California - offices in San Mateo and San Carlos
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Hold an AMFT/ASW/LCSW/APCC/LMFT license in California

Responsibilities

  • Love working with children, parents, and families
  • Have an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Maintain a minimum caseload of 25 clients per week, including notes, treatment plans, dx, and clinical enrichment as needed to support clients.
  • Work an all-in-person schedule OR a hybrid schedule of remote and in-person with a minimum of 3 days in office
  • Strive to find the joy and excitement in learning, and love that you get to collaborate with other curious minds that are passionate about various topics of expertise
  • Take advantage of the resources, training, and coaching that is offered to all of the associate and licensed clinicians with the intention of these offerings being to help you develop, grow, and achieve your professional and personal goals
  • Are open to working with young children and openly receive the training and support to help you become the best child therapist you can be within our fiercely independent and collaborative community.
  • Meet with your supervisor for both group and individual supervision weekly, attend company meetings, and individual Professional Development meetings.
