About The Position

We’re seeking someone to join our team as an Associate-AI Data & Automation Engineer on the newly established PBO Agentic AI Team, to serve as both a hands-on engineer and an operational innovator-designing, developing, maintaining, and scaling AI-driven automations across the organization. Engineers in this role will work closely with PBO Operations teams, Technology partners, and vendors to build compliant, robust, and secure automations that integrate with existing systems, adhere to governance guidelines, and deliver measurable business impact. In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is an Associate level position within the Change, Analytics & Strategy, which is responsible for developing operating and technology strategies, managing, and executing transformation initiatives, leading Agile fleet activities, driving innovation, developing analytics solutions and delivering business outcomes. Requirements

Strong programming ability in Python, SQL, API development/integration, with experience using Azure and GitHub.
Experience with automation tools such as UiPath, Alteryx, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism.
Able to work with large datasets, build queries, and perform data analysis.
Able to structure work independently, manage competing priorities, and operate autonomously.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts across operational audiences.
Demonstrated problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Experience working in fast-paced operational environments with strong time-management and organizational skills.
Familiarity with Wealth Management Operations processes, data flows, and control requirements.
Understanding of operational risk, governance, and regulatory considerations within financial services.
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of functional area and operational/compliance policies and procedures of their team
Ability to operate independently with respect to some job responsibilities

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools.
3-5+ years of experience in Operations with a track record of automation and data engineering.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Work with SMEs, leadership, and vendor partners to evaluate use cases, implement pilot models, and rapidly test new agentic automation concepts.
Engage with PBO functions to understand workflows, pain points, and automation opportunities; translate business needs into technical specifications.
Develop AI agents and automation solutions to streamline operations, create capacity, and strengthen control environments.
Build secure data pipelines, APIs, and system integrations enabling AI agent connectivity with PBO systems and datasets.
Maintain AI agent code libraries, versioning, testing frameworks, and release processes to ensure reliable deployment and continuous improvement.
Troubleshoot, refine, and enhance in-production AI agents; manage updates, performance tuning, and exception handling.
