About The Position

This role involves the structural analysis of aircraft modifications, including providing design support and preparing technical documentation to ensure airworthiness. The position requires determining stress levels in primary and secondary aircraft structure, systems, and equipment under applied and induced loads. It also involves comparing these stresses with material properties to predict potential failures and structural instabilities, considering applicable failure theories.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Materials Science Engineering, or have completed their Bachelor's degree within the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

  • Perform structural analysis of aircraft modifications.
  • Provide design support for modifications.
  • Prepare technical documentation for airworthiness.
  • Determine stress levels in aircraft structure, systems, and equipment.
  • Compare stresses with material properties to predict failure and structural instabilities.
