Requirements

Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) (or equivalent international certification).
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
2+ years of actuarial experience.
Advanced Excel skills.
Basic SQL/query skills.

Nice To Haves

MAAA preferred for Medicare bid certification.
Experience with Medicare Advantage financial performance.
Experience with cost trend analysis.
Experience with actuarial analytics.
AI/Copilot experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Analyze and evaluate business risks and opportunities.
Analyze various data reports, identify trends and gaps, and recommend actions.
Apply knowledge of mathematics, probability, statistics, finance, and business principles to calculate financial outcomes.
Develop probability tables based on analyses of statistical data and other pertinent information.
Research and analyze the impact of legislative changes.
Determine equitable methods for distributing funds for insurance benefits.
Create and update actuarial reports.
Participate in merger and acquisition analyses.
Certify annual Medicare bids.
