About The Position

We’re looking for an organized, technically capable Associate Account Manager to join our custom architectural fabrication team. This is a hybrid account administration, estimating, project coordination, and client management role. You’ll support Account Managers on larger projects while independently managing smaller projects and helping move opportunities from initial client intake through estimating, scheduling, and execution. The ideal candidate has experience in the AEC industry, is comfortable reading architectural drawings, and enjoys bringing structure and follow-through to complex projects.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in AEC or a related project-based industry, such as architecture, construction, fabrication, specialty contracting, environmental graphics, signage, millwork, metals, or design
  • Comfortable reading architectural and construction drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules, and dimensions
  • Experience with or familiarity with estimating, project pricing, budgets, and vendor coordination
  • Comfortable communicating directly with vendors and subcontractors to obtain and organize pricing
  • Strong Google Sheets and/or Excel skills, including formulas, sorting, filtering, pricing comparisons, and project trackers
  • Strong Google Slides skills and an ability to create clean, well-organized client-facing presentations
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Bluebeam Revu or similar drawing markup software preferred
  • Familiarity with Rhino, AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other modeling/drafting software is a plus
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Set up new projects and estimates, organizing scope, drawings, schedules, and client information
  • Review architectural drawings and perform basic take-offs and markups using Bluebeam
  • Reach out to vendors and subcontractors for pricing, lead times, and technical information
  • Organize and compare vendor quotes and support project estimating
  • Develop preliminary project schedules and Gantt charts
  • Maintain project information and workflows in Asana and Slack
  • Track milestones, deliverables, approvals, pricing requests, and outstanding decisions
  • Manage smaller projects from client intake through estimating, scheduling, execution, and completion
  • Respond to routine client requests and coordinate communication between clients, vendors, and internal teams
  • Prepare clean, client-facing proposals and presentations using Google Slides
  • Maintain estimating worksheets, pricing comparisons, budgets, schedules, and trackers using Google Sheets and/or Excel
  • Support Account Managers and the Director on larger projects, proposals, and client relationships
