About The Position

Remsoft is seeking a personable, customer-focused Associate Account Manager to join their growing sales team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone early in their career who is genuine, curious, and cares about client outcomes. The Associate Account Manager will own and grow relationships with a portfolio of SMB clients in the forestry and natural resource management sector, acting as a primary point of contact and trusted advisor. The role involves developing account strategies, identifying expansion opportunities, collaborating with internal teams, and utilizing Salesforce for client management and reporting. The position also requires preparing presentations, staying informed about market trends, and traveling to client meetings and industry events in Canada and the USA.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in account management, client success, or a related client-facing role
  • Demonstrated ability to own client relationships and manage a book of business independently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative approach
  • Comfort managing multiple accounts simultaneously and prioritizing effectively
  • Strong English language skills — written and verbal
  • Experience with CRM tools
  • Comfortable working in an AI-enabled environment and understand how AI can improve productivity, innovation, and client outcomes.
  • Demonstrate practical experience using AI tools to streamline your work, generate insights, and improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow relationships with an assigned portfolio of SMB existing clients, achieving revenue targets including ARR and service revenue.
  • Act as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for your clients — understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Develop and execute account strategies that drive client value and support long-term partnerships.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for expansion — upselling, cross-selling, and renewing client agreements.
  • Collaborate with the Account Executive and SDR to ensure smooth lead handovers and visibility into new business opportunities.
  • Work cross-functionally with Development, Product, and Customer Success to ensure great client outcomes.
  • Use Salesforce to manage client interactions, track activities, and provide accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations for client meetings, conferences, and workshops.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitive landscape, and industry challenges to confidently position Remsoft's solutions.
  • Travel to client meetings and industry events across Canada and the USA as needed.
