About The Position
The Home Depot is seeking a Front-end associate who thrives on helping others succeed, enjoys making an impact, and takes pride in guiding customers to the right solutions for their projects. This role is ideal for individuals who are naturally curious and eager to keep learning, looking to start or grow their career. Front-end associates are responsible for proactively directing customers to open registers and supporting them at assisted check-outs throughout the store. They must excel at processing transactions accurately and timely by executing the GET checkout process. The Home Depot is the world’s largest home improvement specialty retailer, operating over 2,200 retail stores across North America, with a focus on helping customers build and improve their homes and businesses.

Responsibilities
- Ensures Customer Satisfaction
- Using the GET Involved approach to customer service, greet each customer, engage them during the transaction and thank the customer for their business.
- Demonstrate knowledge of products and services and make appropriate suggestions to meet the customers’ needs.
- Treat all customers and associates in a sincere, appreciative manner and minimize the time in the checkout line, acknowledging waiting customers.
- Promote and recommend services offered such as Credit, Extended Warranty, Tool Rental, Pro Services, etc.
- Maintains Safety, Security and Shrink Mitigation
- Follow all Safety and Loss Prevention policies and procedures.
- Follow processes on the front-end designed to mitigate shrink and protect assets.
