Inventory Analyst with experience monitoring inventory levels, analyzing demand trends, and optimizing stock to support operational efficiency and service levels. Skilled in data analysis, forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration to identify risks, reduce excess and obsolete inventory, and improve inventory accuracy. Known for leveraging ERP systems and reporting tools to deliver actionable insights that drive cost control, supply continuity, and informed decision-making. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Ensures that inventories are secure, properly identified and readily accessible to authorized personnel. Maintains controls over various types of inventories (e.g., raw materials, subassemblies, finished goods). Conducts physical inventory counts and reconciles results with inventory records. Ensures that quantities of incoming and outgoing shipments are correct . Conducts analyses of inventory levels and coordinates with production and sales requirements.

Requirements

  • Requires broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education.
  • Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A), 0 years of experience required.
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic Knowledge with ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
  • Basic Microsoft Excel skills
  • Knowledge of inventory planning methodologies (EOQ, safety stock, min/max, ABC analysis)
  • Basic working with BI and reporting tools (like Power BI)
  • Understanding of supply chain processes (procurement, production planning, logistics)
  • Ability to analyze excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory and recommend corrective actions
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement exposure
  • Experience in regulated or manufacturing environments (e.g., medical devices, pharma)
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
