This role supports the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered software solutions that meet enterprise customer requirements and operate in scalable, highly available environments. As part of T-Mobile's Network Data & AI (ND&AI) team, the Associate Engineer builds and enhances agentic applications that automate critical engineering tasks across network prediction, performance analysis, simulation, and troubleshooting. The position combines hands-on software engineering — using technologies such as microservices, big data platforms, virtualization, software-defined networking, and network functions virtualization — with applied AI/agent development to turn complex network data into actionable insight. Working under close guidance on routine technical assignments, the engineer collaborates with a high-performing team and contributes to continuous improvement of systems and workflows. Success is measured by the ability to deliver functional, well-documented software that advances the team's automation and business-impact goals. You'll join an innovative and fast-moving Network AI team that has developed and patented agentic AI applications used by thousands of enterprise users. The group is known for its Quantum Apps suite — US-patented software delivering Network AI Agents plus Area, Device, and Customer Insights. It's a place where emerging AI innovations translate directly into multimillion-dollar business impact, where smart risks are encouraged, and where your work automates the critical tasks that keep T-Mobile's network performing and customers connected.
