This role oversees all production and distribution activities for plants and internal shuttles within the New England subregion. The Associate Director is responsible for ensuring safety and compliance with internal Linde standards, FDA, and various government regulations. The position involves managing Safety, Productivity, Lean, and Six Sigma initiatives to achieve productivity goals through formalized methods. The Associate Director will create and manage operational plans, coordinate activities with Sales and other departments, and ensure strategies are effectively formulated and communicated. This role also involves establishing goals, promoting decision-making, delegating tasks, and overcoming obstacles. Coordination with corporate functions such as logistics, engineering, human resources, and finance is also a key aspect. The Associate Director will take a leadership role in productivity optimization, work with strategic independence, and monitor trends to develop procedures and set precedents. Responsibilities include hiring and maintaining appropriate staffing at the Plant Manager level, as well as staffing, training, coaching, and administering performance reviews, salary increases, and corrective actions for subordinate employees. Ensuring compliance with all applicable internal and external standards is paramount.
