Requirements

  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee hiring, training, coaching, and performance evaluation of technical staff, including RAN engineers, Implementation Managers, OSP technicians, project managers; manage strategic relationships and vendor negotiations.
  • Lead planning, design, installation, and optimization of RAN and OSP infrastructure, providing expert consultation and managing contract resources; coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to implement advanced technologies and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Direct teams in the strategic planning, execution, and delivery of network construction and engineering projects, including copper removal and integration of fiber and mobility builds to optimize infrastructure.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, oversee capital expenditures, and ensure efficient allocation of financial and human resources; manage inventory, tool budgeting, procurement, and supplier coordination.
  • Ensure all activities comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies; conduct in-field safety and quality inspections and enforce safety protocols.
  • Lead and develop high-performing teams responsible for the end-to-end planning, design, construction, implementation, and optimization of 5G and Fiber Network infrastructure.
  • Ensure seamless project execution, regulatory compliance, and adherence to company policies and industry standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement through expert technical leadership, effective stakeholder collaboration, and efficient resource management across RAN, OSP, fiber, and project management functions.
  • Oversees operational aspects of the department, focusing on the day-to-day management of related initiatives.
  • This role is primarily concerned with the implementation and execution of strategies developed by higher management.
  • Typically leads entry-level and career-level staff within the organization.
  • Responsible for influencing decisions regarding the hiring, firing, disciplinary action, promotional activity, and pay decisions for subordinates.
  • This position may be responsible for contributing to AT&T compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.
