About The Position

The Mission Integration Systems family of programs has a need for an Associate Director that will be responsible for execution of the Air Base Air Defense (ABAD) program. This position will provide leadership to the ABAD Program Leadership Team (PLT) for execution of the ABAD contract. The PM will be responsible for performance to technical, cost, schedule, and quality requirements per contractual and business goals. This is an onsite position in Tewksbury, MA. Relocation is not available.

Requirements

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience.
  • Experience managing a program with multiple major subcontractors.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams within the Aerospace and Defense industry.
  • Experience executing technical, cost, schedule, and quality requirements.
  • Ability to obtain an active U.S. government issued security clearance is required within 1 year of start date.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced Degree in a related field.
  • An active Secret US security clearance.
  • Experience managing programs with high technical risk and high visibility.
  • Experience communicating complex technical knowledge to customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Experience managing change, building teams in a matrixed organization, developing leaders and mentoring others.
  • Strong proficiency in developing and presenting Strategic Plans, AOP, and planning to senior management, and responsibility for executing approved plans.
  • Experience conducting international business and cross-cultural communication.

Responsibilities

  • Develop program-enhancing partnerships with internal functional organizations including but not limited to Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Operations/Supply Chain, Quality Management, Logistics, Data Management, and administrative functions.
  • The PM will interface with external stakeholders including US Air Force and critical subcontractors.
  • Display strong communication, influence management, and presentation skills, and comfortable interacts with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels of leadership.
  • Adhere to appropriate processes using the Raytheon Lifecycle Program Management model and available management tools.
  • Oversee the program risk and opportunity process, in accordance with specific financial goals and obligations.
  • Identify and implement key program assessments and metrics to lead development of situational awareness charts and performance assessments that enable program success drivers by the Program Leadership Team.
  • Travel up to 10% of the year per demand of the program.
