As a member of the Public Affairs and Policy team, the Associate Director, Government Affairs is a critical role within Corporate Affairs and Servier. This role advances Servier’s federal and state government affairs objectives through stakeholder engagement, policy intelligence, lobbying firm management, and development of targeted advocacy strategies that support access to Servier therapies in the US. This position reports to the Director, Public Affairs and Policy and works collaboratively across Servier, including regular partnership with US colleagues in Market Access, Communications, Regulatory Affairs, Legal, and other cross-functional teams. The role uses policy intelligence and political insights to assess government affairs implications and develop engagement strategies for priority federal and state issues that impact Servier’s business, industry, and patients. This position will act as a representative of Servier in government affairs settings, ensuring thoughtful engagement with key policymakers, staff, trade associations, advocacy partners, and other external stakeholders. You are a motivated self-starter with strong political judgment, relationship management skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously both individually and in cross-functional environments. You have strong written and oral communications skills, federal government affairs experience, and preferably biopharma or healthcare policy experience. You are comfortable translating external political, legislative, and stakeholder dynamics into clear business-relevant recommendations.
