About The Position

We're looking for a passionate, relationship-driven Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) to join our Tarentum team. Requirements

  • RESNA Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) Certification (or ability to obtain if applicable).
  • Experience with Complex Rehab Technology (CRT), seating and positioning, mobility equipment, or DME/HME.
  • Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage a flexible field-based schedule.
  • Passion for improving patient outcomes through individualized mobility solutions.
  • Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) Certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong knowledge of complex rehab equipment, seating and positioning, and DME/HME products
  • Understanding of insurance, reimbursement, and documentation requirements
  • Experience with patient evaluation, anatomical measurements, and equipment fitting
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently in a field-based, customer-facing role
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and time management skills

  • post-secondary education in anatomy, physiology, orthotics, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients in homes, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, and clinics to determine mobility, seating, and positioning needs.
  • Recommend customized complex rehabilitation and assistive technology solutions that maximize independence and quality of life.
  • Partner with physicians, therapists, case managers, and caregivers throughout the evaluation, funding, and delivery process.
  • Complete detailed clinical evaluations, product recommendations, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate equipment trials, fittings, adjustments, and final deliveries to ensure optimal function and comfort.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on proper equipment use and long-term success.
  • Develop and strengthen referral relationships throughout the Harrisburg region.
  • Collaborate with internal clinical, customer service, and operations teams to provide an exceptional patient experience.
  • Stay current on CRT technology, reimbursement guidelines, and industry best practices.
