This position determines appropriate assistive technology and adaptive equipment needs for students and serves as an accessibility advocate for the College. The Assistive Technology Coordinator works collaboratively with faculty and staff to ensure that digital accessible content, adaptive technology, and mandated accommodated exams are provided in compliance with federal and state mandates. The AT Coordinator provides training to faculty, staff, and students on assistive technology and digital accessibility under the ADAAA, and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. This position reports to the Director of Student Accessibility and Testing Services.
