Assisted Stretch Specialist
About The Position
Join Stretch Zone and help people move, feel, and live better. We provide full training (but you must have a strong anatomy and physiology background), a nationally accredited certification, and a supportive wellness-focused environment. Stretch Zone uses patented equipment and science-based stretching methods to improve mobility, reduce stiffness, and enhance performance. Most stretching methodologies try to wait out, overpower, trick, or ignore the stretch reflex. The proven way to increase performance and mobility is to work with the stretch reflex with the revolutionary techniques available through the Stretch Zone® Methodology (SZM). The SZM Practitioner identifies any postural and movement limitations, then tries to correct or mitigate them through specific applied stretching sessions. With a balanced system the customer will reach their true maximum potential, whether they are an professional athlete, weekend warrior, couch potato, or suffering from chronic pain or illness. Requirements
- Strong anatomy and physiology background
- Background in fitness, wellness, or health profession
- Hands-on learner with a passion for helping and wellness
- Ability to complete and pass certification training
- After passing/learning the stretcher position, be willing to learn and perform the sales process
Nice To Haves
- Personal training certification in ACE, NASM, ACSM, NSCA or NCSF
- License in therapeutic massage or other accredited body work
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized stretching sessions using Stretch Zone protocols/certification
- Assess member needs and apply correct protocols
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of every interaction with each member, prospect, and other staff
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Maintain a clean and organized studio
- Assist with contacting members and prospects
- Work events as needed and schedule allows
