About The Position

Fort Scott Presbyterian Village is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. This role operates within the framework of federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the Community. The LPN is expected to prioritize resident needs, viewing the Community as the residents’ home and modeling person-centered care. The organization, PMMA (Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America®), is a faith-based, not-for-profit organization with a mission to serve people first, guided by Christian values for over 75 years. Requirements

Must be a graduate of an approved LPN Program.
Must possess a current license to practice as an LPN in this state.
Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.

Nice To Haves

Previous geriatric nursing/long-term care experience is a plus.
I.V. Certification is a plus.
