About The Position

The Assisted Living Nurse Manager plans, organizes, directs, and evaluates nursing services within the assisted living community. The role ensures residents receive quality care that complies with state regulations, company policies, and professional nursing standards while promoting resident dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license in the state of Oklahoma.
• At least 3 years of nursing management experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of state survey processes and regulatory compliance.
• BLS certification.
• Ability and willingness to work around exposure to infectious diseases and other healthcare-related hazards.
• Ability and willingness to stand, walk, bend, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Knowledge of assisted living regulations and standards of care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Visual and auditory ability to assess residents and the work environment effectively.
• ACLS certification maintained throughout employment, or obtained within 90 days of hire if not already certified.
• PALS certification maintained throughout employment, or obtained within 90 days of hire if not already certified.
• NIHSS obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to pass drug/alcohol testing.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• 5 years of experience in long-term care or assisted living leadership.
• Experience in assisted living, long-term care, or senior living.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate all nursing services within the assisted living community.
• Ensure resident care complies with state regulations, company policies, and professional nursing standards.
• Promote residents’ dignity, independence, and quality of life.
• Work occasional evening, weekend, holiday, and on-call responsibilities.
• Respond quickly during emergencies.
• May be required to drive GSA or Nation vehicles.
