About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assisted Living and Memory Care Director to oversee the operations of our Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) focused exclusively on assisted living and memory care services. This leadership role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on residents' quality of life while ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in assisted living and memory care management or a similar senior care setting
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to assisted living and memory care
  • Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures
  • Budget management and resource planning skills
  • Compassionate, resident-focused approach with a commitment to quality care
  • Relevant certifications or licenses as required by state regulations
  • LPN or LVN licensure is required in state of practice.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as an RN or LPN in assisted living, skilled nursing, or a related field is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 3 years leadership experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in assisted living, skilled nursing, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of assisted living and memory care departments, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery
  • Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures to maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Lead, train, and support staff to deliver compassionate, resident-centered care
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and residents to develop personalized care plans
  • Monitor quality assurance programs and address any issues promptly
  • Manage budgets, staffing schedules, and resource allocation to optimize operational efficiency
  • Promote a positive, respectful, and engaging environment for residents and staff
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed and conduct regular safety audits
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to continuously improve service quality
