Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Completed the 40-hour Medication Aide Course and are certified as a Medication Aide
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, from dressing to showering to helping them get around
- Administer medications and treatments as directed, and document everything with precision
- Delivering meals, providing snacks, or offering a comforting smile
- Monitor & Report any changes in a resident’s condition to the nursing team
