About The Position
Courtyard Luxury Senior Living is hiring caregivers to support residents in daily life and help them remain active and engaged. Caregivers provide as much or as little support as each resident needs, including assistance with personal care, meals, household tasks, exercise, activities, and other resident interests. The role also includes routine individualized healthcare support, monitoring residents’ health, documenting care, and communicating observations to a leader.
Requirements
- Current New Jersey Nursing Assistant Certification or Home Health Aide certification is required.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience as a CNA is strongly preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Help residents maintain good personal hygiene.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
- Provide routine, individualized healthcare needs.
- Monitor or report changes in residents’ health status.
- Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report.
- Discuss observations with a leader.
- Record vital signs monthly, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration rate.
- Complete assigned tasks in accordance with Community policies and procedures as instructed by the leader.
- Support residents with activities such as bathing, dressing, suite cleaning, meals, laundry, daily exercise, games, and planting flowers, according to their needs and interests.
