The ideal candidate will use a team approach to effectively assist the Title Officer manage the title file from the opening process through the successful closing. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Responding to incoming requests/inquiries from internal and external customers. Accurately input the information into CORE that is given to the unit by the customer. Taking ownership of issues/problems arising from the title file. Processing supplements in a timely manner in which is determined by department guidelines. Ensuring the accuracy of all abstracted documents. Accurately take instructions from Escrow for recording, abstracting documents, demands, and verifying Lenders Instructions to close the title file. Ensuring that all money that is required to close the file has been received by payoff, and that there is enough money to close the title file. Ensuring that the title file records in a timely manner based on the customer’s requirements. Opens all mail and give Title Officer their mail, copy any mail that needs to be abstracted (I.e., demands, documents). Accurately closes out the title file in the CORE system upon confirmation. Faxes or e-mails confirmation to customers upon receipt of final confirmation from the Hall Of Records. Maintains good relations with internal and external customers via e-mail/phone communication with prompt response. Be responsive to all customer inquiries in a professional and proactive manner. Builds effective internal and external relationships with Escrow, Title, and Sales through the delivery of truly remarkable service.
